Bloodborne Pathogens training and completion certificate is taught through the American Heart Associations eLearning online. You can also find bloodborne pathogen training from American Red Cross online learning as well as many other organizations. If you need Bloodborne Pathogens training, this training can be done in one hour in the comfort of your own home AND in your pajamas if you so desire. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens online course teaches will teach you how to protect yourself and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction (i.e. training within your place of employment on specific bloodborne pathogen exposure risks). Upon completion of the online course, you will receive a course completion certificate that can present to your employer. There are no skills test or skills demonstration at the end of this course; however, the AHA provides an optional written exam if the employer requires an exam for completion.
